Fill a mason jar for a quick and easy morning meal.


Small Breakfast:
1. 1 cup mason jar with lid;
2. 2 tbsp steel-cut oats;
3. 1 tbsp amaranth seeds;
4. 1 tbsp buckwheat groats;
5. 1 1⁄2 tbsp raisins;
6. 1 tsp chia seeds;
7. Pinch of cinnamon;
8. 3⁄4 cup boiling water;
9. 2 tbsp milk (optional);
10. 1 tbsp nuts, your choice (optional).


Big Breakfast:
1. 2 cup mason jar with lid;
2. 2 tbsp steel-cut oats;
3. 2 tbsp amaranth seeds;
4. 1 tbsp buckwheat groats;
5. 1 tbsp teff grains;
6. 2 tbsp raisins,
7. 1 tsp chia seeds;
8. Pinch of cinnamon;
9. 1 cup boiling water;
10. 2 tbsp milk (optional);
11. 1 tbsp nuts, your choice (optional),



Step 1: Measure oats, amaranth, buckwheat and teff into the appropriate sized mason jar. Add raisins, chia and cinnamon.

Step 2: Pour boiling water into the jar. Screw on the lid tightly and shake. If time permits, set jar on the counter for 15-20 minutes. Shake again and place in the refrigerator for 7 hours or more.

Step 3: Remove from the refrigerator and reheat in a saucepan or microwave until desired temperature is reached. Stir in the milk and sprinkle with nuts and sweetener if desired. Serve.

!2017 – Le Croque Mosier et Madamè Sandwitch

Do you ever feel like biting somebody? That is so funny, because I do too, and I am starving! Let’s bite people in French and eat fancy ham and cheese sandwiches smothered in cheese sauce together!

Croque Monsieur and Croque Madame literally translates as “bite a man and bite a woman.” Croque Monsieur is a toasty ham and cheese sandwich with cheese sauce broiled over the top. Croque Madame is all of that, PLUS a fried egg spilling warm yolk all over everything. Each beast is saucy; one is saucier than the rest. You should make and prepare these recipes with a fake French accent (“oui”), or Québécois at a minimum (“whai”). Eat them after a night of drinking, the next morning, or whenever you feel like you need some ham and cheese.

Do not allow the directions to make you feel like, “OMG, I am never.” They’re just sandwiches, and they’re delicious! Once you get going, it ain’t nothing but a thing! French people eat these sandwiches frequently and never get fat. All that drinking, biting, and walking home is good for you, I promise. There is even a song for these sandwiches.


Let’s make the sauce first. Grate the cheese and set some aside (to sprinkle inside the sandwich and on top of the sauce). Put a lid on the sauce when you’re done, and remove it from the heat.

2 tbs. of flour
2 tbs. unsalted butter
1 1/2 c. milk, warmed in the nuker
8 oz. Gruyere cheese, grated, 3 oz. set aside
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
1 bay leaf
Nutmeg, a sprinkling

Melt the butter in a sauce pan, add the flour, whisk until you have a sturdy roux, then pour in the hot milk. Add the bay leaf and nutmeg, and season. Stir continuously until the mixture thickens — about three minutes.

Add 5 ounces of Gruyere & the Parmesan, lower the heat, and keep stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth. Remove from heat, cover, and set aside.

Heat the broiler to about 425º and let’s get this Cirque du Sammich under a tent.

8 slices of crusty bread
2 tbs. melted butter, unsalted
Dijon mustard
1/2 lb. Virginia ham (or Black Forest)
3 oz. Gruyere Cheese, grated
Fried eggs, sunny side up (optional)

Brush the bread ever so gently with melted butter, both sides, and toast lightly under the broiler for two minutes per side. Remove the bread from the oven and assemble the sandwiches by spreading Dijon, rolled ham, and a sprinkling of cheese, and top with the other slice of bread. Every sandwich in this operation wears a hat.

Spread generous amounts of sauce over the tops of each sandwich. Don’t be stingy – keep spreading the thick stuff until your mouth waters, and then have a bite of sauce from the spoon. Sprinkle the sandwiches with a little more cheese and place under the broiler until it’s bubbly and brown, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the oven.

While the sandwiches are broiling on top, you need to decide if you are going for the delicious Monsieur or the decadent fried egg Madame. Have both! Cut the sandwich in half: one half for mister, and one half for the lady. Mister loves to be dipped in soup, but the lady doesn’t need anything but what we gave her. Best of both worlds. Do consider. Soups are a great meal for detoxifying the body and supplying it with important nutrients. By cleansing the body, homemade soup will better the performance of the lymphatic system, lungs, gut, kidneys, liver, and the skin. The soups we’ve prepared for you today will also better the digestion and strengthen your immunity.
Since they have fiber, these soups will boost your energy levels, control your blood sugar, and better your mental sanity. Homemade soups can also prevent diseases, rejuvenate the cells, encourage weight loss, and lower inflammation.

How Does the Soup Cleanse Work?

The soup cleanse should last 1 to 3 days, that is, the first phase begins with one day and one month later, the duration of the phase is three days. On a daily basis, you need to consume five to six bowls of soup. Besides adding veggies to the soup, you should also mix in healthy spices and herbs. During the detox period, you need to drink a lot of water to encourage the elimination of surplus water and toxins in the body. You need to drink half the amount of your weight in ounces of water daily.
Prepare soup in advance and you will have soup for several days.

Detox Soup Ingredients:

Next, don’t forget about proteins and make sure to add beans, nuts, or lentils;
Additional ingredients you can put into the soup are coconut, avocado, or olive oil, ghee, etc.;

Detox Soup Recipes:

#1. Broccoli detox soup

You will need:

1. 2.5 cups of broccoli florets

2. 3 celery stalks, chopped

3. 1 onion, chopped

4. A cup of kale or spinach

5. 2 carrots, peeled and chopped

6. 2 cups of vegetable or bone broth

7. Half a tsp of sea salt

8. Juice of half a lemon

9. 2 tbsp of coconut oil

10. 2 tbsp of collagen (optional)


First, you need to heat the coconut oil in a pot and then add the broccoli, celery, and onion. Cook and stir for about 5 minutes and then add the broth. Leave it to simmer for 5 minutes or until all the ingredients blend and the soup is even and thick.

#2. Carrot and ginger soup

You will need:

1: 2 pounds of carrots, chopped

2: 2 onions, chopped

3: 6 cups of bone or vegetable broth

4: 3 tbsp of fresh ginger, grated

5: 3 garlic cloves, chopped

6: A cup of coconut milk

7: Sea salt, black pepper, and onion to taste

8: 2 tbsp of ghee or coconut oil

9: 2 tbsp of collagen (optional)


Put the carrots, ginger, garlic, and broth in a pan and bring it to boil and then leave it to simmer. Next, sauté the onions in a pan and add the ghee and cook it until the texture is caramel-like. Then, put the onions and broth in a blender and blend them for a few minutes. At the end, add the coconut milk and seasonings and stir the content well. Serve.

#3. Red lentil soup:

You will need:

1). ¼ cup of coconut oil, olive oil, or ghee

2). 2 sweet potatoes, chopped

3). An apple, chopped

4). An onion, chopped

5). 2 carrots, chopped

6). Half a cup of red lentils, rinsed

7). Half a tsp of ground cumin

8). Half a tsp of chili powder

9). Half a tsp of paprika

10). 4.5 cups of bone or vegetable broth

11). 1-inch ginger root, minced

12). Sea salt and black pepper to taste

13). Coconut cream (optional)

First, warm up the olive oil on medium heat in a pot. Next, add the potatoes, apple, carrots, and onion and cook them for 10 minutes. Then, add the lentils, ginger, cumin, broth, chili powder, and paprika and let the soup boil. Leave it to simmer for 30 minutes or until everything softens. When the soup thickens, simmer it for a while and in the end, season it with coconut cream.
